In my experience, the best results come from a direct connection between the artist and the subject. To ensure the artistic depth of the painting, I do not work from low-quality or third-party photographs.
I prefer to work from life sittings or through a personal photo session in my studio. This allows me to control the lighting, observe the subtleties of posture, and capture the true essence of the person.
I accept a limited number of commissions each year. Each project begins with a conversation about the desired size, mood, and setting.
