Commissioned Portraits

A commissioned portrait is more than just an image — it is a personal interpretation of a character, a moment, a memory. On this page you will find examples of portraits I’ve previously painted on commission. Each work is unique, created through a thoughtful dialogue with the client and brought to life in my signature loose, expressive style.

Commissioning a Portrait

I believe a portrait doesn’t just need to resemble — it must speak. It should reveal something about the person, and be emotionally tangible. That’s why I work not only realistically, but leave space for intuition, brushwork and atmosphere. The strength of a painting lies in its power to move you.
